Don't Give Your Insurance Company a Christmas Gift!

Fall is here and now is the time that we try to help our patients receive all the dental benefits that they have earned.

Most insurance companies reset their benefits on January 1st. If you have not used all of your earned benefits by this cut-off, the insurance company keeps your money and the benefits you deserve are lost forever.

The insurance companies have plenty of money, don't let them keep yours!

Many patients don't necessarily need major restorative work done, but everyone should have their teeth cleaned and checked twice a year. I know some of you are waiting to get a crown done. If you have benefits left over now is a good time to take care of your teeth for the future.

If you are nearing retirement age, we talk to our patients about preparing to no longer have dental benefits. Most of our senior patients lose dental insurance when they retire. There is no dental coverage under medicare and and supplements that can be purchased don't include major coverage like crown and bridge and dentures. These services tend to be what is needed as we age, so we suggest completing the "big ticket" services while under coverage of insurance. Usually we spread the work out over a few years to maximize your benefits. Something to think about.

Have a great Fall and call Christy or Maegan at our office if we can be of any service to you before the end of the year.
