Off to New Orleans
Sounds like fun, doesn't it. Well I plan on having some fun at night, but my days will be occupied with American Acadamy of Craniofacial Pain seminars. The emphasis this winter is Dental Sleep Medicine. Not knocking patients out to work on them, but being a part of sleep disorders such as Apnea treatment. Some patients simply can't tolerate a C-Pap machine so an intraoral device becomes the best treatment.
We are also training on our newest piece of high tech equipment. A dental CAT scan. It allows us to see you in a 3-D format. It has already helped us find problems that we weren't even suspecting for patients. We also will be using it for headache treatment and mini-implant procedures.
We missed work today because of the weather,we will be back at iy for a day before Lori and I leave for New Orleans.I'll report on what I learn.
Take care,
Rob
